1. Program Process
The French Committee’s proposal to make use of European networks and thematic groups to formulate the program, together with the usual way of proposing activities for the European Social Forums (ESF), was accepted with general consensus. This proposal does not impede groups outside networks to organize their own activities. Starting with the EPA (European Preparatory Assembly) in Berlin, the different thematic groups and networks will have the opportunity to meet and prepare their proposals.
It was decided that each organization can propose a maximum of 3 activities. Each network, 5. The Social Forum of Turkey will know the exact number of rooms and their prices by January 2010 (EPA in Berlin).

2. Assembly of Assemblies
During the last day (Sunday) of the ESF 2010, Thematic Assemblies and the Assembly of the Assemblies will be organized. It was decided that an Assembly of the Social Movements will be redundant and therefore unnecessary.

3. Thematic Spaces
A larger number of thematic spaces will be offered during each day of the ESF 2010. The Organizing Committee of Turkey will present a concrete proposal on this issue during the EPA in Berlin.

4. Big Events/ plenary
The opening session has to be thought as a full-size event which gives visibility to the Forum. Besides the traditional inauguration speeches some concerts and cultural activities will be organized.
The proposal of the Social Forum of Turkey on having the intervention of famous politicians in some of the plenary to boost Turkish participation was strongly criticized.

5. A day on regional issues
The Social Forum of Turkey proposed to organize debates related to Regional Issues one day before the ESF 2010. The proposal was rejected as the World March of Women will take place that same day.

6. OPENESF
The ESF website costs 400 Euros per month. The Social Forum of Turkey has not yet decided about the use of the website.
